In 2172. The story takes us through the adventures of Fishman, former galactic star boxball, which was launched with the young Kameo in the quest for a legendary fish named Asterion.

On board their vessel Eratos, each member of the crew has a good reason to hope his discovery because the fish would be able to fulfill wishes 4.

Their interest is also stimulated by their rivalry with Barbozza, a fearsome pirate desperate to get their hands on Asterion, only to eat.
