The story we follow the struggles of five teenagers, Bronze Saints, who must protect a young girl named Saori Kido, reincarnation of the goddess Athena.
Threatened by the plots of the new Pope, the representative of Athena on Earth in his absence, and master of the Sanctuary (gathering place of all the Knights), Athena receives a gold arrow in the heart.
The Bronze Saints have only a few hours to cross the 12 Houses of the Zodiac, confront the powerful Knights D'Or which are home to arrive at the hall of the Pope.
