Oscars 2014: Pharrell Williams and U2 are the show, Pink pays homage to "The Wizard of Oz"

 The Oscars, it is not that movie ! The music was at the heart of Hollywood event of the year , and as tradition dictates , U2, Pharrell Williams and Idina Menzel are climbed on stage to perform the songs in contention for a statuette. A wind of luxury, glamor and glitz of Hollywood blew ! It is in fact last night that was held the 86th Oscars, great mass of world cinema that saw the feature film "Gravity" and "Twelve Years A Slave" triumph. Considered the " Super Bowl " of the seventh art, the Oscars is also, and above all, a television show of acrobatics .

U2 acoustic sessionAs is tradition , artists in the running to win the statuette for Best Original Song were invited to perform their song.  Taken easily by Bono and The Edge, the title track of the biopic " Mandela a long walk to freedom " was one of the most successful moments of the evening . In a more punchy record , Pharrell Williams - appeared in shorts on the red carpet - came to electrify the Dolby Theatre funky sound of his hit "Happy" , written for "Me Despicable 2" .
