U.S. box office: The sequel to "300" ahead "Mr. Peabody & Sherman"

 Successful launch this weekend for " 300 : The Birth of an Empire " in the United States. Exactly seven years after the release of the first film by Zack Snyder , its sequel has generated $ 45.1 million of revenue at the box office between Friday and Sunday , settling easily in pole position. However, despite inflation, this second component is substantially less than its predecessor and 70.9 million in 2007. 

 I must say that the visual innovation of the time is not really innovative seven years later , and the cast and director have been modified.
