The new film by Darren Aronofsky , Noah, that tells the famous episode
of the flood in the Bible , is expected to hit U.S. screens Friday,
March 28 .Its producer , Paramount Pictures announced earlier this month that
Qatar , Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates had "officially confirmed
that the film does not come out in their country" for religious reasons .Since then, the Egyptian , Jordanian , Kuwaiti and Indonesian have followed suit .The film , which paints a bleak picture of Noah, was also under attack
in the United States , this time on the side of the Christians.Members of the National Religious Broadcasters had requested that it
be clarified that the generic " shows that the film is not a literal
interpretation of the Scriptures."
A request addressed by Paramount, which states in the warnings : " While artistic freedom has been taken , we believe that this film is true to the essence , values and integrity of a story that is a cornerstone of faith for millions of people around the world. "Hollywood studios have invested nearly $ 130 million in the new film by American director (The Wrestler, Black Swan) and starring two Oscar-winning actors Russell Crowe in the title role and Anthony Hopkins , as well as Jennifer Connelly and Emma Watson .
