Oscars 2014: American Bluff Gravity and 12 Years a Slave favorites :

The battle promises to be fierce . The nominees for the Oscars have been known since Thursday , and three films dominate the discussion. " 12 Years a Slave " was announced as one of the favorites , the film has nine nominations.
 It is particularly race in the categories : Best Film, Best Actor ( for Chiwetel Ejiofor ), Best Supporting Actor ( Michael Fassbender ) and female (for Lupita Nyong'o ) and best director 
( Steve McQueen ) .  

" 12 Years a Slave " is not however the most acclaimed movie since " Gravity " and " American Bluff " have ten opportunities to win an Oscar. "Gravity" can dream of an Oscar for best film, the best actress ( Sandra Bullock) and best director ( Alfonso Cuarón ) .

" American Bluff " is a big hit , with nominations in all the most prestigious categories : Best Film, Best Actor ( Christian Bale ) , Best Actress (Amy Adams) , Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Bradley Cooper ) , best actress in a Supporting Role (Jennifer Lawrence) , Best Director 
(David O. Russell) , best Original Screenplay (Eric Warren Singer and David O. Russell) .  

" American Bluff ", " 12 Years a Slave " and " Gravity " should not leave empty-handed from the ceremony. Behind this trio, " Captain Phillips ',' Dallas Buyers Club " and " Nebraska " has six nominations, one more than " Her " and " The Wolf Wall Street ."
